Dairy Produce. — Bacon, lOd to Is Id per lb ; butter, fresh, lOd to Is ; salt, 9d to JOd ; cheeso, Colonial, 7d to Bel ; do, English, Is 6d ; egsjs, lOd to Is per dozen ; ham, Is 3d to Is 9d per lb ; milk, 3d to 4cl per quart.
Meat. — Beef, roasting, 5d to 7d per lb ; steaks 5d to 1& per lb ; boiling", 2^d to 5d ; mutton, 2^d to 4|d ; pork and "veal, 4d to 7d. Toliotels, 4d to 5d all round.
