Tho quotatiou for New Zealand wheat is G2s per quartet*, but much of the New Zealand wheat lately arrived has been in bad condition, and only saleable at 455-for cattle feed- or starch-making. The cause of the damage is supposed to be bad harvesting . Por tallow there bas been a fair •amount of competition. Mutton tallow is quoted at 33s to 435, and beef do. at, 36s to 42b. New Zealand stocks have been arrested by the heavy parcels • being brough into the market, but since the consolidation of the bonds the prices have been higly satisfactory.
