Langley and others v. Birch. — This was a complaint, under the lxi. section of the G-olafields Act, 1866, that the complainants and defendant could not agree, and that the defendant would not pay bis share of the working expenses of the claim. Mr. G-ooday for plaintiffs ; Mr. M'Coy for defendant. After some evidence had been taken, it transpired, to|the surprise of both counsel, that Birch had actually sold his interest. After some consultation, the case waß settled, on the understanding that the defendant was io pay his share of the expenses incurred.
