COMMERCIAL.
The wool sales closed with great firmness ; 213,000 bales were sold. The future prospects of the wool market are highly favourable to growers. Twothirds of the late sales of wool have been taken for export. Tallow is easier, and hides are dearer. Copper is ruling at £78 per ton. ' Colonial securities have advanced. Consols are at 93^.
