The King has held a grand review, and was enthusiastically received. There was an unusually large attendance of Cardinals of the Church, and Dignitaries of the Court.
The Pope refuses to accept the Papal guarantee offered by the Italian Government, which recognises him as the head of the Church, prescribes him royal honours, and regards his person as inviolable, &c. He insists on the complete restoration of the Papal territories.
