1 (From the "DailyTim.es.'') Auckland, August 16th, via Tauranga, August 18th, The Nevada has arrived from San Fransisco, bringing dates to July 20th ; from London, to July 19th ; and from Few York, to July 19th, telegraphic. The Nevada left Honolulu on July 30th. After leaving Honolulu she broke her spring bearer, and had to continue the pasaage under halfspeed. Captain Moller specially detained the cutter Hero at Tauranga to take Greville's brief despatch. The full summaiy will be forwarded per Tai'anaki. A great fire occurred at Rheinis by an explosion of petrolum. Fifty persons were killed and wouttded. The police in London dispersed a public meeting for promoting emigration. The Chief of the Police Department in Dublin has been murdered ; it is supposed by Fenians. Asiatic cholera liad appeared in Poland. A great riot occui'red at New York, and the Iroops fired on a mob, killing and wounding many. Archbishop Guibert, of Tours, is appointed successor to Mgr. Darboy, the recently murdered Ai'chbishop of Paris. Further arrests have been made of Communists at Montreuge. M. Thiers has written a letter to the Pope favourable to the Papal policy, if the other powers will act with France. The arai'derer of Marshal Prim has been arrested. There is a probability of the resignation of the Spanish Ministry.
