GOLDFIELDS HOSPITALS

We have received the last report of the Grey River Hospital,, and cull a few items therefrom for the information of the subscribers to the Tuapeka Hospital. The Grey River Hospital has been established five years, and is supported as follows :—: — one-third subscriptions, one-third subsidised by Nelson the Government, and one-third by the Westland Government. The surgeon, Dr. Morice, receives £250 per annum without quarters or rations, but is allowed private practice.
