RESIDENT M GISTRATE'S COURT, LAWRENCE.
(Before W. L. Simpson, Esq., 11 M.) Thursday, 10th August. Buchanan v. Mnnro. — This was an action for damage done by trespass of cattle, and the price of a sow, &c. Mr. G-ooday for plaintiff. Mr. Copland, for defendant, pleaded a set-off. Judgment for plaintiff for £2 55. , and costs. Lancaster v. Chaplin. —Claim, £17 14s. for goods sold and delivered. Mr. Copland, for defendant, pleaded not indebted. Case adjourned till 21st August, to enable plaintiff to produce a principal witness.
