LAWRENCE CATTLE SALES,

Mr. M. Hay, last week, sold a mixed lot of cattle for Mr. M' Alpine, which, realised about £5 per head. Mr. Hay also sold, on account of K. Lancaster, Esq., a useful mob of about 60 head of cattle, which commanded prices ranging from £3 to £8 10s., or, on the average, about £0 per head — a large number of buyers being present, and bidding spirited. Yesterday (Wednesday^ at Mr. G. li. Cascoigue's farm, Mr. Hay sold a lot of dairy c<»ws, with calves at foot, the average sum per head realised being £3 15s. ; also, a lot of heifers, which brought, on the avcr.ige, £1 17s. 6d. Oats, in stack, to be weighed out, brought £3 per ton.
