MISSION TO THE CHINESE IN OTAGO. A PUBLIO MEETING will (D.V.) be ■R- held on Thursday, the 9th March, at 8 o'clock, in the Schoolroom, Lawrence, for the purpose of forming an Association in aid of the Chinese Mission Fund of the Presbyterian Synod. The purpose of this Fund is the support of one or more Chinese Missionaries to labour among their countrymen in Otago. The Rev. Dr. Copland, the Rev. Mr. Menzies, the Rev. Mr. Keall, Paul Ah Chin, the Chinese Missionary, and others are expected to address the meeting. WANTED, by a middle-aged woman, a situation as General Servant. Can milk cows, officiate in a dairy, and make herself generally useful. For particulars, &c, apply at the office of this paper.
