The returns from Drybread, Blacks, [Marewhenua and several other districts have not yet been received. The returns of the Caledonian Claim, Auckland, for this week, are as follows — 80 tons, including two tons specimens, yielded 779 ounces. The Schooner Banshee struck Danger Reef, near Waikouaiti, on Monday night. She is a total wreck The crew of tive men are supposed to be lost. The captain is saved. The vp.sspFs car~o, consisting of timber, is fully insured:
