BEAUMONT FERRY RACES.
The Beaumont Ferry Races took place yesterday, on the race course at the west side of the Ferry. There was a large gathering from all the neighbouring districts, and everything went off very satisfactorily. The result of the events was as follows: — Maiden Plate— Pine's Gutz-Who-Gero, 1 ; Town Plate— Hewitt's Duchess, 1 ; Langley's Bedouin, 2 ; Handicap Trotting Race — Carlaw's Joe Cope, 1 ; Dwyer's Madge, 2 ; Hurdle RacePine's Chance, 1.
