SELLING HACK RACE, of 15 soys. Distance, two miles ; weight, lOst. 61b.; entrance, Ll Is. The winner to be sold for Lls. Any surplus to go to the race fund. THIRD RACE. DISTRICT RACE, of 10 soys. Mile heats. Weight, lOst. 61b ; entrance, Ll Is. Open to all horses within a radius of twelve miles from Tuapeka Mouth. Second Day (Saturday, 31st Dec), first race. MINER'S PDRSR, of 10 soys. Mile heats ; weight, 103t. Clb. ; entrance, Ll Is. Open to all horses w^iin a radius of twelve miles from Tnapeka Mouth, the property of bona fide miners for two months prior to race. SECOND RACE. TOWN PLATK, of 25 soys. Distance, three miles. Weight for age Entrance, Ll 10s. THIRD RACE. HANDICAP TROTTING RACE, of 10 soys. Distance, tliree miles ; weight, 12st. ; entrance, Ll Is. FOURTH RACE. CONSOLATION HANDICAP, of 8 soys. For all beaten horses. Distance, one mile and a half ; entrance, 10s. Crt. EULES AND REGULATIONS. Mares aud geldings allowed 31bs. No entries will be received for any of the above races, except on this condition, viz., that all disputes, claims, and objections arising out of the racing shall be decided by the Stewards, or Avhom they may appoint. Their decision on all points connected with the carrying out of the Programme to be final. No person will be allowed to run or enter a horse for any race in this programme unless the same is the bona fide property of a subscriber of Ll Is. to the race fund. Post entries for all the above races. Five per cent, will be deducted from the gross amount of stakes for expenses. Three horses to start or the public money will not be given.
