England Still was imported direct from England at an expense of one thousand guineas. He is a rich-coloured bay, with black points ; fine bone and great muscular power, and a sure foal getter. He was bred by Mr. Tuting, of Fencote, Yorkshire, England, and was got by Counsellor ; dam, by Cardinal ; grand dam, by Prince ; great-grand dam, by Askew Forester. Counsellor, the sire of England Still, was sold for the sum of fifteen hundred guineas to go to France. He was got by Skyrocket, dam by Old Surprise ; grand dam, by Traveller ; great-grand dam, by Summer Cock. Skyrocket by Master George ; Master George by Old Rainbow (that noted horse, the property of the late Mr. John Ayars, of Bampton, which was sold fcr the enormous sum of three thousand guineas). Terms : — Five Guineas, payable at the end of season ; Groom's Fee, 65., payable at time of service. Mares sent to paddocks will get all care taken of them, but without responsibility. Woolgrowers are recommended to mark and number their Bales on each end, in addition to the usual mark on the side.
