COAL.
(To the Editor of the Titapeka Times.)
Sir, — You know as well as I do that the weather is culd, and coals are very dear— even then. 1 clearness we might endure if we got only our proper quantity. I got delivered to me tho other day a load of coal representing one ton. To satisfy myself that I had got my proper quantity, I weighed it, and to my surprise the weight was only 14cwt. I think, under these circumstances, the sooner consumers look after the matter the better. 6cvvt. short, which will represent 65., is in all conscience too glaring, and will bear improvement. — I am, &c., Cold Feet,
