BONNIE WEE FLOWERS. Bonnie wee flowers, »' their beauty disclosing, JFatcb. on the hills for the gleds as they flee ; Bonnie wee flowers, ia the slee neuks reposing Smile to the birdies that sing on the tree. Then blaw yo. wild roses, Sweet flowers for love posies, Spreading your fragrance affhand ower lea ; For doun in the bosky dell, There does my lassie dwell, Keeping her heart and her love a' for me. Bonnie wee flowers, though wi' bricht beauty blooming, Nane are sac lovely as my lassie's e'e ;- Bonnie weeflowers, though thesaftairperfuming, Nane are sac sweet as the ripe lips I pree. For douu in the bosky dell, There does my lassie dwell, Fairer than ony bit flow'rie I see, Richer and. rarer, And sweeter and fairer, Keeping her heart and her love a' for me.
