(Before W. L. Simpson, Esq., R.M., H. Bastings, Esq., J.P. and Alex. Stewart, Esq., J.P.) - Monday, November Ist. Inspector of Nuisances v. Ferguson. Henry, Keen, Hayes, and Harrop.— For allowing filth to accumulate in rear of their premises. Ferguson not being at home, case was adjourned. Keen, Henry, and Hayes were fined ss. and costs. Unrrop. discliar^ed. £ame v. Clark.—b'or allowing a horse, his property, to trespass within the municipal boundary. Fined ss. and costs, and 10s. expenses. Thuesdat, November 4th. Sheath v. Roberts. —Claim, £5, for damages sustained and expenses incurred in consequence of defendant taking plaintiff's horse to the Tokomairiro pound. Verdict for £4 and costs. Eoberts v. Sheath—Claim, £6, damages sustained in consequence of defendant's horse breaking into plaintiff's paddock and injuring a filly. Verdict for £3 and costs. Darton v. Sheatb. —Claim, £ll, for damages sustained in consequence of defendant's cattle trespassing on plaintiff's ground. Verdict for amount claimed, with costs. [The particulars of the above three cases will be given next week, as they are of some importance to the holders of land.] Hughes v. Lewis.—Claim, £4 lis. Gd., for goods sold and delivered. Verdict for amount, with costs. WARDEN'S COURT. ('Before W. L. Simpson, Esq., Warden.J Monday, Noyembeb, Ist. Symes v. Morrison and others.— Claim, £6O, damages sustained by tailings being deposited on the reserved area, Plaintiff was nonsuited, with costs of Court and 40s. expenses.
