STOCK REPORT.

Messrs Driver, Maclean & Co. report — Prime Beef, 25s to 30s per lOOlbs. Prime Mutton, 3d per lb., in town. Store Cattle— Mixed mobs, £4 10s to £5 10s ; do. bullocks, three to live year, £6 to £8. Good Dairy Cows, £10 to £14. Store Sheep- Wefliers, 4-tooth and upwards, 6s to 7s ; ewes, 2-tooth, 8s to 10s ; do., 2, 4, and 6-tooth, 6s to 7s 6d. Messrs. Wright, Stephenson and Co. report, for the week ending the 28th inst., a3 follows :— Fat cattle, one draft yarded brought, for prime beef, 30s. ; inferior, 25s per 100 lbs. We sold privately, forty head, delivered in town, at 30s. per 100 lbs. Fat sheep— We quote good mutton, 3d. to 3|d. per ib. Store cattle — Bullocks three years old and upwards, are worth from L 6 to L 7 10s. ; mixed mobs, L4to L 5 per head. Store sheep— We have no transactions to record, and for current rates, refer to last week's report. Country sales — At Green Island, on the 27th, we disposed of a large number of dairy stock ; quiet cows realised from L 8 to Ll4 ; yearlings, steers, and heifers, from LS ft. Gd. to L 3 10s. Horses — On Saturday we sold two teams, fourteen head, some of them superior stock, but the prices realised were not so satisfactory as might have been expected, the top figure being L 52. Quotations are — first-class heavy draught, L 43 to L 52:5 2: medium, L 27 to L4O. Good hacks and light harness horses, L2O to L3O ; uscfnl do., Lll to LlB ; inferior, nominal.
