pf Mr. W.F.D. and. respectfully the author. a visions homeward stray, 1 ViCxlftd hours; pf joy .revealing, 1 ' T " v - ' -■ " ' Ami forms of loved ones far away, '/ , ' Fbncl memory's e'er unveiling ; A'-.d when across the briny seas, . .Should troubles e'er beset thee, ■ " Que gladsome thought may cheer aud .please^. That we Will ne'er forget thee. '" j As in the rosy ocean shell J We gather on the shore, fikxyeet fairy strains of music swell, — Soft echoes from, the' billows' roar 1 j Sn, when our life is ou the wane, Remnants of days then long gone by. >'.iy echo meui'ries back again, ■' ' .\nd perhaps recall our fond good bye 1 ] -- ..
