Still among clay and mullock, Still among mullock and clay ; Jn winterjtnd in summer, Slinging thp monkey away. Burrowing under the ranges. Far from the light of day ; Pick and crowbar unceasingDrive, drive away. Seeking ever for Treason, Without |tpp or stay : ' At nigbt in mud-built cabin', Snatching irhafe test he may. Such is the life pf the digger ; Cheered only by hope's lay, The dream qf pouring hia treasure. At the feet of some sweet May. Still among clay and mullock, .
