Far down In the mountain?! craggy breast, Where the eye of man ne'er gaitd, ' Where volcano©* sleep in chasms deep, ' ' A palace of gold it raised : And then, in mystio power enthroned, In a blase of supprral light, ; -With countless elves to work bis will, ' L , ..Eeigris th« King of Gold in his might. „ ■ \\'i . Then hurrah ! hurrah ! for this Spirit King, ' Let' us joyful chant in his praise ; Otago's clime hath a happy time. Since here he his court did raise.
