What soothing nepenthe" ia poured o'er the heart : Sweet peace to the soul does it bring— The thought that in absence we are not forgot, "Which robs the cold world of its sting. But bright are the laurels thy labour shall yield ; Hoiiour tuid fame are in store ; ' " And sweet aye the pleasures that cluster the path That leads to the temple of lore.
