For all horses that have never won public money. 1^ mile. Entrance, £2. Ladies' Purse, of 20 soys. Welter weights. Gentlemen riders. 2 miles. Entrance, 30s. Handicap Trotting Race, of 20 soys. Catch weights. 3 miles. Entrance, 30s. Miners' Purse, of 20 soys. l£ mile heats. Weight for age. All horses to be the bond fide property for two months previous to running. Entrance, 30s. SECOND DAY. Tuapeka Town Plate, of 60 soys. 3 miles. Entrance, 4 guineas. Hurdle Race, of 20 soys. Welter weights. 2 miles, over 7 flight of hurdles. Entrance, 30s. Hack Race, of 10 soys. Catch weights. l£ mile. Post entries, 10s. Consolation Stakes, of 15 soys., for all beaten horses. 1^ mile. Entrance, LI. Rules and Regulations of the Otago Jockey Club will be strictly enforced. Three entries or no race. Mares and geldings allowed 3 lbs. No person allowed to enter horses unless he be a subscriber to the extent of 2 guineas to the Race Fund. All entrances must be in sealed covers, addressed to the Secretary, containing entrance money, name, description and age of horse, and colors to be worn by I jockey, on or before Tuesday, 31st March, at noon. 5 per cent, for expenses to be deducted from gross of all monies paid in accordance with Programme.
