ACTIVITY AT WELLINGTON
Wellington; This Day Activity on the wharves was well-maintained' yesterday. Twenty.two vessels, including half a dozen Home liners, were working cargo, and 1,860 arbitrationists were engaged. There was no surplus labor. During the morning a dozen new hands signed on, but only two of them were ex-strikers, and they were not ordinary cargo workers, but "coalies" who were looked upon as the last men who vtould come _ .
