NELSON STRIKERS DISAGREE.

Nelson, Thursday. Strikers held a meeting last evening, and it was of a lively nature. It was addressed by two West Coast delegates, and by delegates to the Watersiders' conference. Mr C. Nelson, president, who has exercised a restraining ' influence during the strike, resigned. There is every indication that a majority of the strikers will return to work next week. Apparently there are only about seven extremists in the union.

The general feeling is that the watersiders Jwould have resumed long ago if the firemen and seamen were not.still out on their behallv It is freely stated that a majority are dissatisfied with Federation tactics The Arbitration Union is in a strong position and the arrival of a Home boat next week is expected to bring to a head.
