AUTUOROA SECTIONS.

The motion moved by Mr Arkle at the meeting of the Chamber of Commerce to the effect that an effort be made to have the sale of the Autoroa sections held in Te Puke was a move in the right direction. There is absolutely no reason why it should be held elsewhere. The land is situated practically at the boundary of the Te Puke Town district,' and there is but little likelihoodof any other than local residents bidding for it. Why the sale should beheld in another centre is inconceivable. It is scarcely fair that that residents should be asked to make a journey to purchase land situated in their midst.
