San Francisco, October 19 The New Zealand footballers defeated the Stanford University team on Saturday by 56 points to
nil, The Stanford students played a weak, defensive game throughout. The visitors in the first half scored 26 points. Their utilisation of the false pass and drop kicking completely puzzled their opponents. In the second half the New Zealanders overran the Stanford students, who were exhausted and unable to play effectively.
