MUKUEKS. Paris, October 1. A dreadful tragedy is reported from the village of Basbrige, near Nantes. A fifteen-year-old boy named , Marcel Rcdurcau, while working a winepress, quarrelled with his employer, a man named Mabit. Jumping from the winepress, the boy seized an axe, and with it slashed his employer across , the throat, killing him instantly. He then rushed into the kitchen, and cut down Madame Mabit and her maid with the axe, both dying from their wounds. The infuriated youth followed up these murders by rushing into tne bedroom where Mabit's mother lay asleep, and murdering lier while she slept. Then he went into the children's room, where he killed three of the children, a fourth, a boy of four, whom lie did not see, alone escaping. Kedureau then quietly retired to bed, where he was arrested next morning. He confessed to all seven murders.
