A SYDNEY TRAGEDY.

YOUNG MAN SHOOTS A WOMAN. Sydney, June 1. A remarkable tragedy is reported from North Sydney; A young man named Drysdale shot a friend named Miss Day dead. He then turned the weapon on himself, inflicting serious injuries. He made a rambling statement in hospital. He said he looked up to Heaven, and something told him he must take life. He went inside the house and did shooting. He added that the Bible referred to the new life hereafter, and he wanted to go there with Miss Day. Drysdalc's condition is serious.
