COURSING NOTES.
— A mooting of the Coursing Club was held on Tuesday evening in the Albert Hotel. Thero was a good attendance, and Mr John McCabe was called to the chair. The principal business "was to receive entries for the IG-dog stake, to be run on tho 28th instant. The entrance fee was £3 10s r and the prizes for tho first dog £10 and the handsome silver cup presented by tho President of the club, Mr A. E. Isaacs ; £15 for the runner up ; and £7 10s each for tho third and fourth dogs', Tho following gentlemen paid tho entrance feo, but tho nomination of dogs remain over till Monday: — Messrs. Chermside, M. Dervan, W. F, Buckland, It. Garret, "W. Sloano, M. Hogari, J. Bainbridgo, J. McCabe, Allwill, J. Dickey, Quigley, W. A. Fonton, J. Abbott, M. Hogan, W. Percival,. and D. Bush. Mr Wallnutt was unanimously elected judge, and Mr James Ferguson slipper. A draft prospectus of the Pluinpton Park Company was submitted, and it was agreed to send a copy to each ruombor, in order that it might be considered and dealt with at a meeting to be held .. on Monday next. Five now members were elected at tho mooting.
