TAURANGA.
The first Agricultural Show held in Tauranga, under the auspices of the Farmers' Club, has proved a great success. The grounds were well patronised, during the day, and, after sampling the exhibits of cheese and beer, everyone went away satisfied with himself, the Show, and all the -world. Of course, in several matters of detail the
affair wasn't perfect j but these little slips can be easily remedied before the public are admitted to next year's exhibition... The appointment of anew Domain Board is regarded as a great triumph for the local athletes. The constitution of the new Board is almost purely athletic, the cricket element predominating. There should be no further difficulty in removing the obnoxious avenue and forming a cricket and football ground, which shall at once be a credit to the clubs and district. Perhaps, also, that snug retreat, in which the chosen one of somebody interested in the Board was located, will now be removed.
