MANGAWHARE.

This district is to be congratulated on the acquisition of Mr J. T., who has been prevailed upon to cast in his lot with us for at least a time. Uniting a magnificent tenor voice with a finished musical education, his name will prove a considerable addition to our coming concerts j while in the cricket field, at football, or indeed any athletic sports, his assistance will materially conduce to our success. If reports coupling his name with one of Wairoa's fairest residents be true, we hope to be able to count him a permanent settler in our midst.
