A certain young lady is said to have grown a couple of inches taller since her elevation to the dignity of Miss So-and-So. , Who was the young man who, at a recent boating picnic got so screwed that he could neither row nor talk ? Our new bank buildings are rapidly approaching completion and they certainly will be an ornament to our township. The young banker contemplates celebrating the opening of them by entering the bonds of matrimony at the same time. Something must be up ! Our young miller, upon being asked why he was not present at a certain gathering, replied with a careworn air, "I'd got such a frightful lot of work to do." What a lucky job the doctor is handy, as after undergoing such new sensations, our young friend will certainly require medical advice.
