Mrs W. is not at all what she is represented, for she is extremely anxious for the formation of a dancing class that the Miss W.s can finish off. The public lost a most ludicrous sight not Tiaving witnessed the figure of eight performed by •old S. at the creek when he broke his pledge. ■ Funny old boy. Nick thinks that theic ought to be directions •on all them confounded gas fittings in bed-rooms in Auckland, for after he blew one out he had to put his clothes on it to stop the vent. He should mot be let go to Auckland alone.
