GISORNE.
Mrs M., you are wrong, the person you talk about is not the Observed correspondent. Dust, fleas, and draughts are the chief characteristics of Trinity Church here. I wonder why Me, the " skilled telegraphist" is such a regular attendant at church now ? Our bachelors are disconsolate since the Misses <3\ and N. returned to Auckland. There is as much show of getting a water supply for Grisborne as there is of Bob Cooper inviting Rees to tea. Our young ladies want to know when Harry Davey is going to pay Grisborne another visit. More than one of them have their eye on him. What pictures the Messrs J. C. & R. were at the riding party on Gfood Friday. Why didn't they take a little practice in some lonely place, where " no eye could see" before starting ? Really, Montague, now that you are to be married so soon, you should refrain from laughing at all the young lady members of the congregation. H. C. says its a treat to talk to any girl that's lived in Auckland. Is that the reason he promenades so much between the Turanganui Hotel and Porter's Hall ?
