The dhivo on the reef southwards a* the Nb. 10 level of the May Queen mine, Thames, is now in 134 ft. The reef still clanies a well-defined foot-" wall, but. it ia at present a little pinched up. At a deep level crosscut the Exchange reef was stripped for albout 18ft laist week;, and about 15ft of it tejiken diown. It is about 2ft wide, 'and although no gold was seen in the quartz, it dairies favourable minerals.
