The leader on which the winae was sank below the tunnel ievel was intersected in the crosscut yesterday nfternoon, and in breaking down the quartz the manager spcuped tjje pngqnraging haul of 121bs of picked stone. Qood pojers of gojd wese also seen through the general dirt, which is of a. most promising description, and gold is still visible in the face. Another breaking down took place this afternoon, when a further haul of 22lbs of picked stone was obtained. NEW ALBUENIA. The crashing of 13 loadji of general dirt from this mine was completed to day for the excellent return of 41ozs 6dwts gpld, being an average of over 2^ozs per load, which is most satisfactory. Good progress is being made with the drive at the 70ft level, to-intersect the Star of the South and Success lodes, which should be to hand in another 40ft.
