Auckland, This day. Training Notes.
There was a good master of horses at Ellerslie this morning, when the Cup favorite—Stoneyhurst—made his first appearance since his arrival, but he merely qid s}ow exercise in company with Nelson and Wapiti. Foul Shot and Libeller put in a fast twice round, and Carbineer aid similar work. Sir Bedevere and Victory (in company) were sent the Cup distance at a fair page, but the other work was unimportant, Turquoise and Kadamos were not out until later in the day.
