Stdnet, Yesterday. The Tekapo sailed this afternoon for New Zealand. The New South Wales Parliament assembled to-day. The newly-elected members of the Legislative Assembly having been sworn in by the Speaker, the Hon. Edward Barton, the House adjourned. The Opposition members are in a msjority, but the course of action they will adopt has not transpired. Sir Henry Parkes took the opportunity this afternoon, to renounce his claims to the Premiership. An expedition, fully armed and otherwise equipped, will shortly start from Thursday Island for New Guinea to prosecute a diligent search for the Geographical Society's expedition.
