This day. The Phoenix mine at Skippers crushed 5300zs retorted gold 420 tons of stuff. Mr Bland, the representative of Stewart Dawson and Co., jewellers, here, has absconded to Melbourne, and a warrant has been issued for his arrest. His defalcations are over £500. The principal of the firm arrived here by the Rimutaka.
