NAPIER.
This day. J. A Cunningham, the son of A. H. Cunningham, an old Canterbury settler, died to-day after a short illness.
The funeral of F. H, Drower of Waipukurau was largely attended yesterday.
A swagger named H. Humphries was drowned on Sunday while crossing the Ngaruroro river. At the inquest yesterday a verdict of accidental death was returned.
