PORT CHALMERS.
Yesterday. Armed: Arawa, from Plymouth, via Capetown and Hobart. She left Plymouth at 5 p.m. on August 15; arrived at Tmeriffe at 8.40 a.m. on the 20tb, and left again nt 710 p.m. She had moderate winds and fine weather to Capetown, where she arrived at 7 5 p.m. on Scptem* ber sth, and left again at 5 30 p.m. on the 6th. She had strong S. and S.E. wiodß with high mountainous seas until Sept. 14th, and thence moderate B.W. to N.W., and reached Hobart at 9.30 a.m. on the 26th Sept, and at 8.30 p.m. the same day reached Taiaroa Beads, arriving here at 2 a.m. to day. The passage occupied 44 days 12 hours and 32mins., including stoppages at Bfa and in port, 1 day 11 hours 32 minutes. The total Bteaming time was 43 days. She brings 2689 tons of cargo, and 242 passengers. All enjoyed excellent health prior to her entering the Heads, and presented Capt. Stuart, Dr Pembroke, and tbe officers with testimonials.
