Melbourne, This day. The Victorian quarterly returns give the revenue for the last three months as £1,450,000, being a decrease on the corresponding quarter of last year of £24,000. The principal falling off is in the excise, land sales, and territorial revenue.
Adelaide, This day. The revenue for the past quarter is £531,000, being an increase of £21,000 on the same period last year.
Sydney, Yesterday. A grand picnic was given to-day in honour of Dion Boucicault, the distinguished actor and gifted playwright. It was attended by over four hundred of tl»e leading residents, and was a great success.

The Union Company's steamship Mana« pouri sailed for the Bluff this afternoon. Joseph Syms, the well-known Freethought lecturer, was brought before the Magistrates to day on a charge of publish* ing articles of a blasphemous nature in his newspaper, the Liberator, and after examination wan committed fur trial.
The Hon. Mr Service has introduced the Federal Adoption Bill into the Legislative Assembly.
