Melbottene, This day. The remainder of the insubordinate members of the Permanent Artillery were sentenced to four months' imprisonment by a court martial, but the prisoners having been recommended to mercy, the Government have reduced the sentence to three months.

Sydney, This day. The police hare arrested two men upon suspicion of being concerned in the murder of a policeman at Canterbury, New South Wales, on the 13th inst.

Melbourne, This day. Mr J. D. Robertson's horse, Precious Stone, has been scratched for the Mel* bourne Cup.
Adelaide, This day. . The Colonial Treasurer estimates the revenue for the coming year to be £2,340,000, and the whole expenditure for the same period is set down at £2,410,000. It is anticipated that new taxation to the
extent of £200.000 will be required to meet tv>e deficiency at the end of the coming.financial year.
