Yesterday. In tbe Scaramelli poisoning case, Moore was committed for trial and the wife discharged. The Wellington Poultry, Pigeon, Canary, Rabbit, and Cat Association' 3 second annual show was opened by the Governor to-day. There is a much larger number of entries than last year. This day. The Australia with the July English mails left San Francisco for Auckland on the Ist inst., time table date. The Zealandia with the July colonial mails arrived at San Frauciseo from Auckland on tbe 10th inst, one day earlier than time table date.
