DUNEDIN.

This day. At a meeting of the Canterbury Rugby Union last night, it was decided to cooperate with the Wellington Rugby Union to arrange for an Inter-Island Match at Wellington about September Ist, and to communicate with the Otago Union to arrange fur a Southern team. The selection committee resigned, and the Rev. J. Watson and Mr W. V. Melton were appointed in their place. The Otago-Can-terbury Match was fixed for August 291h, to be played in Christchurch.
