Rising in AfghanistanNews is to hand from Afghanistan of a serious rising that has taken place in that' country. Is a Khan, aided by Russian allies, has broken out into an open revolt against Abdullah ' Khan, the Afghan Governor in the pro* vince of Khunduz, in the north-east of Afghanistan. He is stated to have taken forcible possession of the town of Khanabad, a short distance from Khutdaz, capital of the Province, and has there seized treasure belonging to the Ameer of Afghanistan to the extent of one million pounds sterling.
