This day.

Mr Ballance leaves for Wellington this afternoon. A deputation from the Chamber of Commerce waited on him yesterday on the tariff and river improvements questions. A deputation from the Small Farmers' Association waited on him endeavouring to get the average acreage for allotments increased, but Mr Ballance refused to increase the average.
