Lamont's gold saving process is referred to in the Herald this morning. Mr Lamont is in Auckland, and intends visiting the Thames. In the course of a •onversation with miners qualified to speak of the peculiarities and difficulties met with in dealing with Thames ores, the inventor expressed his belief that they could all be overcome by his process. It is stated that 95 per cent, of gold is saved by the invention.
