DARWIN. Cleaning up for this company took place today for the return of 290z3 13dwts gold. This, with the 19ozs banked about a week ago, makes a total,of 48ozs 13dwts, for which about 83 loads of general dirt have been treated. Inbreak* ing the reef in the drive at No. 3 level colors of gold are occasionally seen. r MOANATAIRL The manager of this mine yesterday banked 42ozs 16dwts gold, the product of 12 tons of general dirt, obtained from the stopes on the branches of No. 9 lode. Williams and party, tributers, who are working upon what is supposed to be Wallace's leader, have banked the very Jgood return of 78ozs Bdwts gold from two tons of general dirt and 961bs of picked stone. The stone yielded 42ozs 16dwts, and the general dirt shaped at the rate of about 15ozs to the ton. The manager has therefore commenced a crosscut at the tunnel level, above which the leader is intact, and the reef should be to hand in about 20 feet. GOLD RETtfRNS.
